GLUTEN FAQ’s

Why is gluten free only available on 1st  Mondays of Month.

This is currently the only day we can separate a designated frying pan which is cleaned and replaced with uncontaminated oil  with more demand we would like to make it every Monday.

What time on Monday is Gluten free available?

All day. Gluten free is available all 1st Mondays regardless being a bank holiday or not from open til close…feel free to ask

Are the chips Gluten free?

Yes we use the same segregated frying pan

What about the equipment you use

We use a segregared frying pan, all other equipment is used solely for the purpose of Gluten free to prevent contamination. For takeaway orders the chef at the back who deals with gluten free packs the order to avoid coming into contact or mixed up with any other orders

What about the batter?

We make our batter according to the same recipe as our Middleton’s Gluten free batter mix. Which we have received great compliments about it being delicious.

What about the Vinegar?

We use Gluten free Vinegar which is best with lots of splashings on fish and chips
